Qualifications

• Seven years of business analysis experience across the full SDLC, including elicitation, process/design documentation, testing and UAT, and stakeholder management.
• Experience delivering ECM/records management solutions on Microsoft 365/SharePoint Online GCC, including information architecture, metadata, retention and eDiscovery.
• Government or regulated environment experience (state/federal, courts or law enforcement) is preferred.
• Hands-on with content migration planning, change management, and enterprise-wide user adoption.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, sensitivity labels, Power Platform (Power Automate/Power Apps), and search optimization.

The Project Assistant serves as an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Business Analyst for the New York State Attorney General's office, working with an implementation contractor team to lead requirements discovery, design workflows, and manage adoption across multiple bureaus. The role focuses on translating business needs into user stories, coordinating testing and migration, and supporting Microsoft 365/SharePoint Online implementations.

Key qualifications:

• Seven years of business analysis experience across the full System Development Life Cycle, including requirements elicitation, process/design documentation, testing/User Acceptance Testing, and stakeh
• Experience delivering ECM/records management solutions on Microsoft 365/SharePoint Online GCC, including information architecture, metadata, retention, and eDiscovery
• Experience in state or federal government, law firms, courts, investigations, law enforcement, or regulatory agencies
• Hands‑on with content migration planning, change management, and user adoption at enterprise scale
