Job summary

STV Incorporated in Denver, CO seeks a Project Architect to serve as the chief technical architect for construction documents and related specifications. You will lead a multidisciplinary production team, ensure code-compliant, buildable drawings, and mentor junior staff.

The role collaborates with the Design Lead and Design Manager to deliver DD through CD stages. Ideal candidates bring RA with CO-eligibility, 10–15 years of architecture experience, and strong Revit/BIM proficiency, plus

Qualifications

• Registered Architect (RA); CO registration preferred or obtainable within a set period after hire.
• 10–15 years of professional architecture experience, including construction document production and multi-disciplinary coordination.
• Proficiency in Revit/BIM for architectural production.
• Working knowledge of Denver and Colorado building codes.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating with engineering disciplines and outside consultants through DD and CD phases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production of construction documents, drawings and specifications for assigned projects.
• Coordinate technical work across all engineering disciplines and outside consultants to produce coordinated, conflict-free documents.
• Own technical detailing, code compliance, and document quality within the project scope.
• Mentor production staff and manage drawing production oversight and integration of specifications.
• Contribute to STV's national technical leadership and support proposals and firm-wide standards.
