Job summary

DeOld Andersen Architecture seeks a full-time architect with 3–6 years of professional experience. Based in Omaha, Nebraska, the firm handles commercial, residential, and institutional projects and emphasizes collaborative, hard-working, nimble studio culture.

The ideal candidate should bring a NAAB accredited degree, a strong portfolio, and solid knowledge of construction detailing and building materials. You will lead projects and work with principals across all phases, using BIM documentation

Qualifications

NAAB accredited architecture degree required.
Portfolio demonstrating strong design conceptualization and professional visualization skills.
Strong knowledge of building construction, detailing, and materials/systems.
Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and work independently.
Focus on sustainability, accessibility, and code compliance in design solutions.
Flawless written and oral communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple projects independently and collaborate on large-scale projects as part of a team.
Work directly with studio principals through all project phases on a wide variety of project types.
Prepare documentation with BIM software (Vectorworks) as a necessity.
