Job summary

Allegrone is seeking a motivated Architect with leadership experience to guide the design team on medium to large-scale Design-Build projects. Qualifications

Job description

Allegrone is looking for a motivated, experienced Architect to become a leader of the design team within a fast-growing Design-Build firm.

Takes on the responsibility and day-to-day of project efforts and high-level management of multiple medium to large scale projects, and coordinates most aspects of assigned projects.

Can be relied upon to present directly to the client on technical and design solutions. Works closely with the firm's Managing Principals and Director of Design to execute project plans. Provides direct supervision of architectural and interior design staff as required to deliver successful projects and technical expertise. Leads the design effort of assigned projects including program, product and material selections, code analysis, and construction detailing.

Responsible for many of the project coordination efforts, some administrative and some technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects. Serves as the primary client design contact to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the client’s satisfaction. Assists in the management of client schedules and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture, plus a minimum 8-10 years of experience and certification as a licensed professional.
• Must be able to work both collaboratively as a team alongside other architects, designers, and staff as well as independently when required to facilitate smaller projects.
• Extensive experience in architectural drafting and coordination with engineers/consultants.
• Must understand how to write, interpret, and manipulate project specifications as required.
• Software skills:
  a. Proficiency in Autodesk software’s including Revit Architecture is an absolute
  prerequisite – candidates who do not have at least 3 years experience utilizing the
  software will not be considered. In addition, must be generally familiar with Autodesk
  Recap and Navisworks.
  b. Must be familiar with Microsoft 365 environment and Adobe software’s including
  Photoshop. Proficiency in these software’s is preferred, but not required.
  c. Proficiency with navigating Autodesk Construction Cloud and/or BIM 360 is preferred, but not required.
