Jacobs in Atlanta is seeking a Project Architect to lead architectural design efforts within a growing design studio. You’ll guide deliverables, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure high-quality work that aligns with client goals and budgets.

The role emphasizes collaboration, staff development, and advancing the firm’s architectural practice while supporting federal government projects and DoD-related work. Hybrid work with office presence is encouraged.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from a NAAB-accredited program; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 8 years of architectural design experience.
• Registered Architect (RA) licensure.
• Overseas and US-based travel may be required.
• Proficiency in REVIT and standard Office Suite products.

Responsibilities

• Lead as the Designer of Record for architectural design projects including schedule, budget, delegation of work to junior staff, quality control and sealing/stamping drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate, develop, and produce deliverables in support of project scope.
• Lead a design effort as part of a multi-disciplinary team including electrical, structural, mechanical, civil, interiors and fire protection engineers.
• Collaborate across studio or remote environments and support project teams.
• Perform construction administration and field tasks including RFI processing and submittals.
