Job summary

Jacobs in Atlanta is seeking a Project Architect to lead the development and production of architectural deliverables within a growing design studio. This role offers a chance to drive culture, mentor staff, and coordinate a multidisciplinary team to meet client goals.

The position supports federal government facilities with a hybrid work model (minimum two days in the office) and a base salary range noted in the posting. Strong Revit and Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from a NAAB-accredited program; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 8 years of architectural design experience and a Registered Architect (RA).
• Overseas & US-based travel may be required; ability to obtain clearance may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination, development, and production of deliverables for architectural design projects.
• Serve as Designer of Record (DOR) including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
• Mentor and develop junior staff; conduct quality control at milestones.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers; lead design efforts in studio or remote settings.
• Manage projects for Federal Government facilities and related clients.
