Job summary

VetsEZ is seeking a Project Analyst/Manager to coordinate government IT programs, manage schedules and deliverables, and drive SAFe/Agile practices. The role requires experience with cost, schedule, and performance tracking, plus strong communication skills.

Responsibilities include leading Scrum events, maintaining Jira, and producing routine and ad hoc status reports for internal and government stakeholders. A Public Trust clearance is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business discipline; eight years of related experience may substitute.
• 5+ years of experience in project analysis or project management.
• Experience supporting government IT contracts.
• Experience tracking cost, schedule, and performance data with reports.
• Ability to present analytical findings in narration and graphics.
• Strong knowledge of system network infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on SAFe/Agile experience.
• Experience identifying risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Coordinate with external technical leads and stakeholders to align objectives and solutions for network infrastructure.
• Serve as Scrum Master and implement SAFe/Agile practices including planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives.
• Organize and maintain Jira to support backlog management, efficiency, and collaboration.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies; escalate as needed.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and provide status reports to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to resolve issues and align with objectives.

• Coordinate with external technical leads and stakeholders to align project objectives and technical solutions for system network infrastructure work.
• Serve as Scrum Master for the team, supporting and implementing SAFe/Agile practices, including planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Organize and maintain Jira to support backlog management, operational efficiency, and team collaboration.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as necessary.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular status reports to internal and government stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to resolve issues and keep work aligned with project objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a business discipline. Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for the degree.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Experience as a Project Analyst or Project Manager supporting government IT contracts.
• Experience creating, applying, and maintaining tools to track cost, schedule, and performance data, and creating routine and ad hoc reports.
• Ability to present analytical findings orally and in writing using narrative and graphic forms.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with system network infrastructure projects.
• Hands-on experience with SAFe/Agile frameworks and practices.
• Experience identifying and managing project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Exceptional communication, organization, and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience serving as Scrum Master and organizing Jira to support team workflows, backlog management, and reporting.
• Experience managing software acquisitions for technical teams.
• PMP, SAFe, or Agile certification.
• An active Public Trust clearance or higher.
• Experience using AI tools (for example, Microsoft 365 Copilot) to draft status reports, summarize meetings and action items, and analyze schedule and performance data, with the analyst verifying accuracy before release.
• Experience using AI tools to support Agile delivery, such as drafting user stories, refining backlogs, and preparing sprint and program increment summaries.
• Familiarity with secure and responsible AI use in federal environments, including using only agency-approved AI tools, never entering sensitive VA or contract data into unapproved tools, and following VA and federal AI guidance.
• Experience supporting VA or other federal healthcare IT programs.
