Job summary

NV5 is seeking a Project Accountant in Florida to join our C&E finance team. You will set up projects in Deltek Vantage Point, track revenue, invoice clients, and support month-end close and project audits.

Ideal candidates have an accounting degree and at least two years of project accounting experience in a fast-paced environment, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail. This role collaborates with Controllers, Assistant Controllers, and Project Managers to ensure accurate financial

Associate degree or relevant financial experience required.
2+ years of project accounting experience preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Set up projects in Deltek Vantage Point per contract and revenue method.
Enter project budget information and upload documents into Deltek Vantage Point.
Maintain and update projects through revenue recognition and invoicing.
Process monthly invoices for review and approval by Project Managers.
Support project audits and AR reporting.
Maintain and clean up projects on a regular basis.
Review and maintain project unbilled detail with BU leaders.
Enter project-related vendor AP invoices and code to the project.
