HDR is seeking a Project Accountant 2 to join our team in a role focused on client invoicing, budgeting, and contract administration. You will support multiple projects, ensure timely financial data, and assist with A/P processing as needed.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years in project accounting, proficiency with Earned Value Management, and strong communication skills to collaborate with managers in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time on-site position in Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of project accounting experience; advanced degree may offset years of experience.
• Familiar with Earned Value Management.
• Strong verbal and written communication including grammar and proofreading.
• Proficient with MS Office including Word and Outlook.

Responsabilités

• Work autonomously on client invoicing, collections management and project budgeting.
• Backup assistance on coding and processing A/P, time sheets, and expense reports.
• Maintain contract documentation and budgeting entries.
• Coordinate project accounting within the department and ensure contractual compliance.
• Support multiple project managers and staff daily; mentor junior staff as needed.
