Job summary

Ramos Consulting Services, now a part of Colliers Engineering & Design, is seeking a Project Accountant to perform detailed cost analyses supporting CIP construction projects in the Airport Design and Construction department.

The ideal candidate will manage pay applications, progress invoices, change orders, and cost reports, partnering with project managers and procurement to ensure timely payments and accurate cost allocations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
• Two years of experience for Project Accountant I or five years for Project Accountant II, with cost control and reporting duties.
• Ability to review invoices for proper coding and contractual conformity.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, review, and reconcile pay applications; coordinate certified payrolls and safety compliance.
• Validate progress invoices; manage SOVs, change orders, allowances, contingencies, and base amounts.
• Process change orders; coordinate with project managers for bundling and approvals.
• Coordinate with Procurement to align change order approvals with monthly invoices.
• Onboard contractors to CIP projects; prepare cost management procedures and slides for group presentations.
