Jobot is seeking a Project Accountant with a strong construction background to join our Wakefield, MA team on-site. You will oversee all financial aspects of construction projects, from budgeting and cost tracking to financial reporting and forecast updates.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or CMA certification would be considered an asset.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
• Expertise in project forecasting and managing requisitions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and create meaningful reports.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• A keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• A strong understanding of financial regulations and standards in the construction industry.
