Burnett Specialists in Austin, TX, seeks a Project Accountant to manage financials for firm projects from due diligence through client invoicing and collections. You will help ensure fiscal health across the project life cycle and collaborate with Design Managers to maintain accurate financials.

The role requires organization, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel. Prior experience in architecture or design firms is preferred, with a focus on accurate reporting and compliance.

Formación

• Accounting or Business Administration degree preferred.
• 5 years of project accounting experience in a professional service firm preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and strong analytic skills.

Responsabilidades

• Billings and financial reporting at project and studio levels.
• Review project budgets and staffing plans to ensure appropriate fees.
• Understand contract terms as they relate to fee management.
• Invoicing clients per contract terms and coordinating collections.
• Forecast spending and analyze variances to inform leadership.
• Monitor accounts receivable and support collection efforts.
• Coordinate consultant invoices and payments and maintain project files.
• Liaise between project, studio, and accounting teams.
