studioDSK in Concord, MA is seeking a talented Project Accountant to support the Finance team and Project Managers by coordinating the financial management of our design projects. The role involves maintaining financial health of projects, liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams, and ensuring accuracy and compliance across GL, billing, and reporting.

A Bachelor’s in Accounting and 5+ years in project accounting within architecture/engineering/construction, with Deltek Vision or

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' progressive accounting and billing experience in architecture, engineering, or construction firms.
• Experience with Deltek Vision, Deltek Vantagepoint, or similar project accounting software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• High emotional intelligence and professional maturity.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project setup and monitor project budgets.
• Process monthly billing and revenue recognition.
• Track project costs and ensure contractual compliance.
• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Process consultant and overhead invoices weekly.
• Prepare consultant accruals and journal entries and support month-end close.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by Controller.
