Job summary

A leading project management firm in St. Louis is seeking a Billing Support Specialist to assist project managers with billing on multi-million-dollar projects. Candidates should have 2-3 years of experience in billing or project accounting, preferably in the construction industry, and be proficient in Microsoft Office 365. This full-time role offers a salary range of $75,000 to $105,000 and includes medical and vision insurance along with a 401(k) plan.

• Construction industry experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up all new jobs in the system.
• Handle all aspects of billing for contracts/jobs.
• Prepare and report the monthly Cost to Complete (WIP).
• Monitor AR balances and follow up with customers on past due balances.
• General office administration tasks.

We are seeking a professional, friendly, energetic candidate who has what it takes to support our Project Managers' billing needs on multi-million-dollar projects. The prime candidate thrives in a fast-paced work environment and is adaptable to taking on new tasks.

• Position Description & Responsibilities, but not limited to: Set up all new jobs in the system
• Collect any paperwork for the contractor, as needed
• Employee time entry-monitoring for accuracy and submission
• Handle all aspects of Billing for contracts/jobs
• PO entry along with PCOs
• Prepare and report the monthly Cost to Complete (WIP)
• Provide, review, and monitor project financial reports
• Monitor AR balances and follow up with customers on past due balances
• Send labor force inclusions
• Run reports for PM and project close-outs.
• Lien waivers and Certificate of Insurance requests
• General office administration, including acting as a point person for all administrative and office needs.
• Ability to complete work efficiently and multitask while prioritizing tasks
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Team player-willing to assist or help where needed with a positive attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Capability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional and positive attitude

Experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years in a billing position or project accountant position
• Bachelor's or Associate degree, preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; Vista
• Construction industry experience, preferred
