Job summary

TPI Staffing, Inc. is hiring a Project Accountant in Spring, TX to complete monthly estimates and revenue calculations, prepare monthly closing, inventory reconciliations, and respond to audit requests.

You will perform IFRS 15 compliant revenue recognition, develop EAC forecasts, review costs against budgets, and prepare journal entries for management review. Applicants should have at least five years in cost/project accounting, a finance/accounting degree, ERP experience, and strong GAAP/IFRS

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in cost accounting, project accounting, or financial & planning analysis.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Finance/Accounting or related field.
• Experience with an ERP system is preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards required.

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly revenue recognition calculation, prepare journal entries and ensure adherence to IFRS 15 contact regulations.
• Prepare monthly estimates at completion, preparing the EAC workbook, analyzing, reconciling and review with project manager to facilitate presentation to management.
• Review project and facility costs as compared to budget to ensure costs are being allocated properly.
• Forecasting – prepare weekly project forecasts including costs, invoicing and revenue calculations.
• Monitor project billing milestones and ensure they are billed and collected in a timely manner.
• Assist with bids & proposals, reviewing new contracts to assist with IFRS revenue recognition memos.
