Job summary

LHH seeks a Project Accountant in Nashville to handle bookkeeping for multiple projects, emphasizing construction accounting and cost coding. You will report on project costs, gather documentation such as risk mitigation, bonds, and insurance certificates, and ensure timely AP review and AIA billing.

This onsite role offers standard M-F hours with flexibility on start/end times. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, and PTO/holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Construction accounting experience required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent construction/manufacturing accounting experience.
• Experience in Intacct, Procore, Foundation, Spectrum, Viewpoint, Textura, etc. is highly sought after.
• Excel - Intermediate.

Job description

As a Project Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related directly to bookkeeping for multiple projects on the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of construction accounting and cost coding.

Responsibilities Include:

• Project cost reporting and analysis
• Gather documentation such as risk mitigation compliance, bonds, insurance certificates, etc.
• Ensures weekly AP review, AIA billing
• Set up new customers and manage job contracts
• Works closely with financial institution partners and vendors
• Takes ownership of projects to ensure high quality results

This is an onsite position located in metro Nashville (west side), TN. M-F (40 hours/week) with flexibility on start/end times.
