Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a seasoned Project Accountant in Atlanta to support engineering and architectural project-based services. You will handle project billing, revenue recognition, and profitability analysis while partnering with Project Managers and operations teams to ensure accurate financials.

Strong Excel skills are required, and experience with Acumatica or Deltek is preferred. This role offers growth, high visibility with leadership, and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Accounting experience.
• Must have Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or similar project-based services industry experience.
• Extensive experience with project billing, revenue recognition, change orders, project financial reviews, and project profitability analysis.
• Strong partnership experience with Project Managers.
• Ability to build credibility and relationships with operations teams.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, formulas).
• Strong attention to detail and ownership mentality.

Compensation

$75K - $95K + bonus

• The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
