Job summary

Piedmont Eastside in Snellville, GA is hiring an RN for Progressive Care/PCU/Step Down. This part-time day shift (2 x 12 hour shifts weekly, some weekends) focuses on bridge care between ICU and medical-surgical units. State-of-the-art technology supports autonomous, evidence-based nursing care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Current License in Georgia as an RN (NLC/eNLC multistate acceptable). BLS certification required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments collecting physical, psychosocial, and health history data.
• Evaluate developmental age to guide assessments, education and care.
• Organize data into a care plan; identify information gaps and expected outcomes.
