Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Progressive Care (Step down) at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. The role focuses on assessing patient status, coordinating care between Med-Surg and ICU, and developing care plans to optimize outcomes.

We value compassion, integrity, and a team-based approach to patient care. Required: RN licensure, 1 year of RN experience; BLS/ACLS preferred. BSN preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience is required.
• 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
• Current state RN licensure is required.
• BLS or ACLS certification is preferred; ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and develop a plan of care.
• Serve as the primary contact for patient care coordination across departments.
• Act as a patient safety advocate by participating in ongoing quality improvement.
• Administer medications safely per state practice and hospital policies.
