Job summary

Mercy Health's Anderson Hospital is seeking a Progressive Care (Step down) Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality care in the MICU - C4 unit during evenings and nights. The RN will assess patients, coordinate with the care team, and develop care plans to improve outcomes.

Requirements include 1 year of RN experience, RN licensure in the state, and BLS; ACLS preferred or to be obtained within 6 months. Mercy Health offers competitive pay and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year RN experience required.
• BLS/ACLS preferred or must obtain ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment; create and update plans of care.
• Serve as point of contact for patient care coordination across hospital departments.
• Act as a patient safety advocate by participating in quality improvement.
• Administer medications safely according to policy.
