Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an RN for a brand-new Progressive Care Unit in Milton, MA. You will provide care for medical-surgical and cardiopulmonary patients on a step-down unit with a 3:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

You will monitor telemetry, participate in patient education, document care, and contribute to QA and training efforts while growing your clinical expertise within a supportive hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Recent acute Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience required.
• Massachusetts RN licensure required.
• BLS required; ACLS for Critical Care Units.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan patient care using the Nursing Process.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team for continuity of care.
• Provide telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition.
• Ensure safety and infection control adherence.
• Assist as charge nurse when needed.
• Participate in unit QA, meetings, and training.
