Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a dedicated RN to join our new Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at our Milton location. You’ll provide monitored, higher-acuity care in a brand-new unit, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery across medical, surgical, cardiac, respiratory and neurological conditions.

Qualifications

• Recent acute Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience preferred.
• Current licensure as a Registered nurse by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS required for Critical Care Units.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality and continuity of care.
• Provide care for telemetry monitored patients with diverse medical, surgical, cardiac and neurological conditions.
• Participate in unit-based QA studies, meetings and ongoing training.
