Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Progressive Care Unit RN for our Milton campus. This role provides specialized care for patients needing closer monitoring in a brand-new unit, leveraging telemetry and high-level clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Recent acute Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience preferred.
• Massachusetts RN license required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification for Critical Care Units.
• Infection control and standard precautions.
• Ability to coordinate care across a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process; assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality and continuity of care.
• Provide telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition.
• Maintain competencies and participate in unit QA and training activities.
• May assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed.
