Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Milton, MA invites nurses to join our brand-new 6-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU). As an RN on the PCU, you will monitor patients requiring higher levels of telemetry, provide individualized care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery and outcomes.

You will work in a supportive community hospital setting with opportunities to advance clinical skills in telemetry, assessment, and step-down care, while enjoying a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

Recent acute Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience preferred.
Current RN licensure by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS for Critical Care Units.

Responsibilities

Provides patient care using the Nursing Process and documents care.
Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality and continuity.
Provides telemetry monitoring and care for medical/surgical patients.
Assists in ordering and upkeep of supplies.
Adheres to safety and infection control standards.
May serve as charge nurse when needed.
Participates in unit QA studies and committees.
