Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a registered nurse to join the Banner Staffing Services-AZ PCU units in Mesa, AZ. The RN will self-schedule a minimum of 2 shifts per month and must be available for both Tucson and South campus PCU units with Day and Night shifts.

Ideal candidates have 12 months PCU RN experience within the last 18 months, BLS and ACLS on hire, and will play a key role in providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment across progressive care units.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of practice (Arizona).
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred/required on hire.
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience in last 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan nursing care in PCU setting.
• Implement and document care per physician orders and policies.
• Coordinate with team to ensure safe patient discharge planning.
• Monitor and reassess patient conditions; adjust care plans accordingly.
• Provide teaching and support to patients and families.
