Job summary

Mercy Health in Springfield Regional Medical Center is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN to deliver high-quality nursing care and bridge Med-Surg and ICU. The role emphasizes patient assessment, care planning, and safe treatment in a busy hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the care team to assess patient status and develop care plans.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and implement treatment as ordered.
• Coordinate patient care across Med-Surg and ICU and ensure safety.
• Administer medications per policy and monitor effectiveness.
• Serve as a primary contact for care coordination across departments.
• Support quality improvement initiatives in the unit.
