Job summary

Mercy Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care Unit at St. Charles Hospital. The RN will deliver high-quality nursing care, coordinate between Med-Surg and ICU, and develop care plans to improve patient outcomes.

The position requires 1 year of RN experience, current RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS is preferred or must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Day shift with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred (not required).
• Current RN license in state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred/obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with care team to assess patient status and plan care.
• Act as liaison between Med-Surg and ICU units.
• Develop and execute patient care plans to improve outcomes.
• Ensure a safe, therapeutic environment and supervise care activities.
• Administer medications per policy and state regulations.
