Job summary

Mercy Health’s St. Anne Hospital in Toledo, OH is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high‑quality nursing care. The role emphasizes coordinating care between Med‑Surg and ICU, assessing patient status and developing care plans to improve outcomes.

The RN must hold an active RN license with BLS/ACLS on preference; a BSN is preferred. Experience includes at least 1 year as an RN, with 6 months in acute care preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred, not required.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS or ACLS (preferred at hire; ACLS within 6 months).
• 1 year RN experience required.
• 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment, create a plan of care, implement and evaluate treatments.
• Serve as point of contact for patient care coordination across departments.
• Act as patient safety advocate through quality improvement initiatives.
• Administer medications safely per policy and practice standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
