Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will work with medical providers to provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care and advocate for patients to ensure an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities include assessing patients on admission and each shift, performing provider-ordered procedures, documenting care, administering medications, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• No travel required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related role.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift; report changes.
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by medical providers.
• Document care given in the medical record in a timely, accurate manner.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
