Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN delivers pre-operative and post-operative nursing care and advocates for patients to ensure a superior experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by medical providers.
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain current knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical medications and equipment.
