Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers. The RN provides pre-operative and post-operative care and advocates for patients to ensure an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities include assessing patient status, performing physician-ordered procedures, documenting care, administering medications, and maintaining knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN certification/licensure required.
• BSN or ASN degree required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by medical provider.
• Document administration of care in patient record timely and thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of meds, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical care.
