Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe seeks a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to deliver pre-operative and post-operative care in a high-volume hospital serving Montgomery County. You will advocate for patients and ensure excellent care experiences.

The role involves assessing patients on admission and each shift, administering medications, documenting care, and coordinating with providers to maintain safety and quality in a Level II Trauma Center and tertiary referral center.

Qualifications

• RN (Registered Nurse)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start date
• Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients
