HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest in Houston, TX is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care before and after surgery, in collaboration with the medical team.

You will assess patient status at admission and each shift, administer medications, document care, and monitor cardiac and medical-surgical patients using current protocols and equipment. This role supports our commitment to exceptional patient experiences close to home.

Formación

• ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN license in good standing (RN).
• 1 year experience in acute care preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes.
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document administration of care in the patient record promptly and thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
