Applicants should have a BSN and NC RN licensure (BLS). This is a regular, full-time position with opportunities for professional growth through the Nurse Residency Program and ongoing development within a fast-paced unit.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN program.
• Current or compact RN licensure in North Carolina; BLS required.
• No experience required; Nurse Residency Program within 12 months of hire.
• Must complete the Nurse Residency Program within 18 months to be promoted to CNII.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, supervise and document professional nursing care following physician orders and policies.
• Delegate tasks and supervise other licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Assist other nursing personnel and act as team leader or charge nurse.
• Monitor and initiate corrective actions to maintain the care environment and equipment.
