Job summary

The Arizona Department of Child Safety seeks a Program Services Evaluator 2 in Tucson to review and process service approvals for programs such as AFF, CSPT, NPP, SENSE, and more. You will ensure accurate matching and timely closure in Guardian, coordinating with field staff and providers.

Under supervision, you’ll monitor referrals, assist with billing issues, and maintain logs while supporting continuous service delivery to families and individuals in need.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Guardian systems.
• Ability to process and track service approvals accurately.

Responsibilities

• Review and process service approval requests for AFF, CSPT, parenting time, FC, NPP, SENSE, and related services.
• Ensure approvals are assigned using referral guides and tracked to prevent lapses in service.
• Assist field staff and providers by phone, email, or in person to ensure accurate approvals.
• Maintain and update logs and provider availability for services processed by the referral unit.
• Support billing by adding or correcting service approvals to resolve issues.
• Communicate weekly with service providers to confirm availability and address waitlists.
