Job summary

The St. Louis Area Foodbank is seeking a Programs Manager to lead equitable access and health and wellness initiatives across a 26-county service area.

You will guide program development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement, aligning with organizational goals and donor expectations. You will collaborate with leadership to set strategic direction, manage budgets and grants, and develop replicable program models that address barriers to food and nutrition security in Missouri

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years in program management, nonprofit/public health/human services environment preferred.
  • Experience supervising staff and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of program evaluation methodologies, outcome measurement, and KPIs.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Establish outcome-based goals for Equitable Access and Health and Wellness teams.
  • Develop, pilot, evaluate, and improve programs to increase equitable access to nutritious food and resources.
  • Lead cross-department collaboration and partnerships to meet community needs.
  • Oversee program budgets, grant deliverables, and donor reporting.
  • Communicate program outcomes and impact to stakeholders and donors.
