Job summary

The St. Louis Area Foodbank is seeking a Programs Manager to lead equitable access and health and wellness programs across 26 counties in Missouri and Illinois.

You will guide program development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement to increase nutritious, culturally appropriate food access and related resources. You will collaborate with leadership and community partners, set goals and metrics, supervise a team, align work plans and budgets, ensure compliance, and communicate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit administration, public health, nutrition, social work, or related field
• Minimum of three years of program management experience
• Experience supervising, coaching, and developing staff
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to set outcome-based goals for equitable access
• Identify barriers and collaborate with partners to develop solutions
• Lead program development, implementation, evaluation, and improvement
• Oversee program strategies to align with mission and priorities
• Ensure compliance with laws, grants, and internal policies
• Monitor data to evaluate outcomes and drive improvements
• Communicate program impact to donors and stakeholders
• Develop annual work plans, budgets, and performance measures
