Job summary

Fr. Virgil Cordano Center seeks a Program Director to lead the administrative functions, develop program components, and implement policies aligned with the Center’s mission.

You will coordinate with community agencies to promote collaboration and deliver case management services to Center members. The role requires guiding the Center’s operations, supervising staff and volunteers, and reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work / Human Services / Psychology / Sociology; master's preferred.
• At least five years in social services with familiarity with administrative leadership.
• Five years of administrative experience managing a team.
• Excellent communication, both oral and written.
• Ability to de-escalate conflict.
• Commitment to serving the underserved and homeless populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, planning, management, and oversight of center operations.
• Collaborate with the Assistant Program Director in carrying out duties.
• Conduct case management and document notes.
• Oversee intake for the Companionship Club and orient new members and volunteers.
• Supervise and evaluate volunteers.
• Attend and record minutes at relevant meetings.
• Maintain calendars and staff contacts for spiritual components.
• Coordinate Outreach Program activities and logistics.
• Ensure adequate supplies and maintain safety and professional relations.
