Axiom Consultants seeks a HADS Programmer II to join the Sterling Field Support Center team. The role is based in Silver Spring, Maryland, but is fully remote, supporting meteorological data systems and IT operations for the NWS program.
You will maintain servers, manage database structures and security, analyze data flows, and coordinate with project management to ensure reliable operation of HADS across the network. Strong IT administration and DBA skills are required.
Axiom is seeking a HADS Programmer II to join our team in providing technical support services to the Sterling Field Support Center (SFSC). This position is based in Silver Spring, Maryland at the National Weather Service, but is fully remote. The overall objective of this program is to operate and maintain a state‑of‑the‑art meteorological laboratory/facility for the evaluation and life cycle support of equipment and software used to make meteorological observations.
This position requires a B.S. degree in Computer Science or 4 years of applicable experience and at least the Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA). Background in Meteorology, Oceanography and/or Hydrology is highly desirable.
