EmergencyMD is seeking a skilled Field/Electronics Technician in Sterling, Virginia, to focus on installing, maintaining, and repairing sensors for the Automated Surface Observation System (ASOS). Axiom is seeking a Field/Electronics Technician to focus on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing sensors for the Automated Surface Observation System (ASOS). The ASOS is a meteorological data collection system located at airports across the United States.
The ideal candidate should have experience using electronic testing equipment and reading wiring diagrams and schematics. In addition to servicing and installing equipment, the Technician will perform maintenance troubleshooting and repair.
When not performing routine equipment maintenance or repair, the Technician will work closely with the Facilities Lead in maintaining and repairing the facility and other meteorological equipment.
