Job summary

Axiom Consultants, Inc. seeks an experienced Program Support Analyst to provide technical, administrative, and financial services for NOAA OER grant and internship programs. The Analyst will serve as liaison to facilitate program strategy, inter-office coordination, and fleet operations management.

The role involves preparing technical reports for senior managers, analyzing complex reports with SMEs across NOAA, and coordinating meetings and documentation to support program objectives.

Responsibilities

• Senior Management Strategy: prepare technical reports for senior managers and ensure quality control to meet deadlines.
• Technical Analysis: analyze complex reports and compile data from diverse SMEs across NOAA to support program objectives.
• Working Group Management: lead technical/administrative services for NOAA groups, schedule meetings, prepare agendas/minutes, develop analyses for status reports.
• Ocean Technology Coordination: coordinate with NOAA offices to summarize information for leadership strategies.
• Intranet/Resource Management: update program intranet sites and share resources for internal groups.
• OAR/OMAO Interface: collect and analyze information for NOAA Office of Marine and Aviation Operations.
• Fleet Council Support: provide technical analysis on Days at Sea requirements for ships used in ocean exploration.
• Advanced Technology Initiatives: drive projects to improve technologies in coordination with COR/TPOCs.
• OMAO Liaison: evaluate and integrate new technologies into fleet operations.

Axiom Consultants, Inc, is seeking an experienced Program Support Analyst to provide support to the NOAA Office of Ocean Exploration (OER). The Analyst will rovide technical, administrative, and financial services for the management of OER grant and internship programs.

The contractor shall provide technical and administrative liaison services to facilitate program strategy, inter-office coordination, and fleet operations management.

Responsibilities Include

• Senior Management Strategy Services: Preparing technical reports and strategies for senior managers; performing quality control to ensure work products are accurate, efficient, and meet Government-approved deadlines.
• Technical Analysis and Synthesis: Analyzing complex technical reports and compiling data from diverse SMEs and scientific disciplines across NOAA to advance OER programmatic, scientific, fleet, and management objectives.
• Working Group Management: Providing lead technical and administrative services for NOAA working groups headed by OER; executing tasks including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, and developing technical analysis for monthly status reports and program documentation.
• Ocean Technology Coordination: Coordinating with NOAA Line and Program Offices via the COR and/or TPOCs to analyze and summarize information used by senior leadership to develop strategies for ocean technology implementation to meet NOAA mission requirements.
• Intranet and Resource Management: Updating and maintaining the program intranet site, including meeting announcements, reference documents, and resources utilized by internal working groups.
• OAR and OMAO Interface: Coordinating the collection and analysis of information across OAR for utilization by the NOAA Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO).
• Fleet Council and Ship Operations Services: Providing technical analysis to the NOAA Fleet Council by advising on Days at Sea (DAS) requirements for ships utilized in ocean exploration.
• Advanced Technology Initiatives: Executing projects and initiatives focused on improving existing technologies and integrating new advanced technology solutions in coordination with the COR and/or TPOCs.
• OMAO Liaison: Coordinating between OER and OMAO to evaluate and integrate new advanced technologies into fleet operations.

Minimum Requirements

• U.S. Citizen
• Be able to pass background screening prior to employment.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant area or equivalent years of education and experience.
• 4-6+ years of experience.
• Must have strong oral and written communication, problem-solving skills, and be a team player.
