Job summary

H2O Innovation Inc. in Ramsey, MN is seeking a Programmer, automation and controls to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.

The role focuses on developing and validating automated systems, programming PLCs, and delivering reliable controls solutions for complex water treatment projects. You will contribute to designing, testing, and deploying control software, documenting procedures, and supporting clients with clear technical guidance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in PLC programming software.
• Ability to write clear technical documents.
• Skill in designing user-friendly graphic interfaces.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs.
• Analyze user needs and develop programming plans.
• Design automated systems through drawings and schematics.
• Test and deploy programmed installations at client sites.
• Create user guides and technical manuals.
• Perform upgrades and troubleshoot systems.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually

The Day-to-Day

• Program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and user graphic interfaces (HMI);
• Participate in analyzing user needs and developing programming plans;
• Design automated systems through technical drawings and schematics;
• Conduct testing and market deployment of programmed installations at our clients' sites;
• Assist our clients by creating user guides, technical manuals, and other tools to facilitate the understanding of automated systems;
• Perform upgrades and troubleshoot automated systems as needed.

The Skills We Are Looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical troubleshooting;
• Proficiency in PLC programming software;

• The ability to diagnose and resolve problems;
