Position Summary | The UNM Clinical & Translational Science Center (CTSC) at the Health Sciences Center (HSC) is seeking an experienced Programmer Analyst 2 to provide extraction and analysis of clinical data and enforce regulatory compliance for data security and patient privacy. The Programmer Analyst 2 will work as a member of the CTSC’s Informatics Core team on the utilization and maintenance of local and national databases available to HSC investigators for research. The role involves assessing and guiding research requests, querying clinical databases, ensuring data integrity and security, and collaborating with research teams. The CTSC is a member of the national Clinical Translational Science Award (CTSA) consortium, funded by the National Institutes of Health. "Translational" science implies translating research from laboratory and clinical trials, to adoption in health systems, through the cycle of "bench” to “bedside” to “community.” The CTSC promotes the expansion of clinical research and the emergence of community voice in the direction and implementation of clinical research. Duties and Responsibilities:
TERM APPOINTMENT; FUNDING AVAILABLE THROUGH 05/31/2026; CONTINUANCE BEYOND THAT DATE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY OF ADDITIONAL FUNDING. The CTSC has received continuous funding for over two decades. |

Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor's degree; at least 1 year of progressively responsible experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
