What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Interpret and define project needs based on communication from project sponsors
- Analyze existing systems and programs to recommend improvements for efficiency gains
- Conduct testing procedures to ensure quality programming output
- Train internal and external customers on the usage of new applications
- Provide 24X7 on-call support for Technology Department-related issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of ten years of experience with RPG programming in an IBM environment
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work in both a team and individual environment
- Willingness to take on leadership roles and support roles as needed
- Ability to work required hours and travel as necessary
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the trucking industry
- Familiarity with SQL and EDI
