The Program Technician in the Imaging and Record Services Program, Records Section, is responsible for imaging documents and fingerprint cards received from courts and law enforcement agencies into the Automated Archive System (AAS) and processes folder requests from various programs within the Department via the Folder Control System. This is an entry and training level position. As trainees, under close supervision, incumbents learn and perform increasingly difficult duties of a semi-technical nature. When incumbents become proficient in their duties, they work under general supervision and guidelines.
