Job summary

Interfaith Works is seeking a Program Support Staff member to oversee daily program activities, ensure safety and guideline compliance, and monitor medications under management direction. You will document events, support volunteers, and maintain a welcoming environment for attendees.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School diploma with at least two years of experience in service delivery or social service field.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to listen well and refer guests to resources.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Proficient with word processor, search engines, and other computer programs.
• Ability to interact well with volunteers and visitors and document behaviors.
• Ability to recognize psychiatric or medical emergencies and contact proper resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and treat everyone with dignity and respect.
• Monitor day-to-day program activities including sign-in/out, meals, activities, and laundry.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and grievances clearly in the log.
• Ensure program safety by following Harm Reduction guidelines and crisis intervention procedures.
• Support volunteers, greet attendees, and assist with dinner and supplies as needed.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and trainings.
