Job summary

Interfaith Works, Inc. is seeking a Program Support Staff to supervise day-to-day program activities, ensuring safety and compliance with guidelines. You will monitor medication, log activities, and provide excellent customer service to attendees.

The role requires handling entries/exit flow, coordinating with volunteers, visitors, and service providers, and participating in staff trainings. This is a full-time, non-exempt position in Silver Spring, MD, with an hourly pay rate of $22.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 2+ years in social or service delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and with volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to program attendees.
• Monitor activities, medication, meals, chores, and laundry.
• Maintain logs and incident reports; ensure safety.
• Greet and assist volunteers; assist with dinner.
• Attend mandatory staff trainings and meetings.
