Job summary

EightCAP, Inc. in Greenville, MI is seeking a General Program Assistant to support the Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion programs. You will assist with day-to-day operations, coordinate activities, and help ensure program goals are met.

This non-exempt position offers hands-on administrative duties, mileage travel within the service area, and opportunities to learn about community resources while supporting volunteers and clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license with reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the service area.
• Criminal records background check required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Project Director and Volunteer Coordinator.
• Maintain records, collect data, and assist in reporting for programs.
• Support community engagement through social media, flyers, and brochures.
• Assist in planning training, orientations, and volunteer recognition events.
• Assist in annual performance evaluations for volunteers and clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
