Are you looking for a dynamic career where you can be on the cutting edge of environmental sustainability and public health in California? The Product Stewardship Branch (PSB) is seeking a skilled analyst to support the oversight and management of the Branch.
In this role, you will coordinate with PSB management and staff to support the oversight of CalRecycle's nine extended producer responsibility programs. Responsibilities include a variety of branch administration functions such as process development and documentation, contract management, and logistics for public workshops and meetings. Additionally, you may provide analytical support on legislative and regulatory initiatives, evaluate policies and procedures, and develop recommendations to improve efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to document and improve processes, communicate complex information effectively, and the coordinate efforts across multiple teams and stakeholders.
There is one (1) Analyst II position available in the Product Stewardship Branch.
Beginning July 1, 2026, CalRecycle staff will be office centered, requiring employees to report to the office at least four days per week. This position may be eligible for hybrid telework under Government Code 14200, subject to the candidate meeting telework eligibility criteria set forth in the CalEPA telework policy and/or future program needs. Employees not residing in California are not eligible for telework. Regardless of telework eligibility, all employees may be required to report to the positions designated headquarter location, as reflected on the duty statement and at their own expense.
