Job summary

Turning Point Community Programs seeks a program leader to supervise daily staff operations and assist the Program Director in managing the program in California. The role may handle a small client caseload and requires coordination with funders and partners to ensure program success.

The position emphasizes supervision of staff, crisis intervention, and the development of program activities, with a focus on safety and quality of service for members.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM: High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of varied experience as a provider of mental health services.
• Optimum: Masters degree in social work / psychology or related field; four (4) years of varied experience as a provider of mental health services; one (1) year of supervisory/management experience; license eligible and current BBS registration as AMFT/ACSW/APCC.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve all time and overtime daily and at the end of the pay period.
• Review and approve all time-off requests.
• Staff performance management.
• Coordinate member services within team.
• Provide coordination of 24-hour member services.
• Visit members periodically to provide direction and support.
• Provide vocational support.
• Assist Program Director with program development as needed.
• Provide prompt crisis intervention and coordinate with necessary agencies.
• Ensure safety, health, and wellbeing of members.
• Complete paperwork in a timely manner.
• Review and approve staff mileage sheets.
• Oversee and co-sign documentation for interns and students.
• Ensure adherence to meal/rest period rules.
• Facilitate groups and team staff meetings at least monthly.
